Test steps of waterproof test equipment

Waterproof test equipment is a diving test device, which mainly simulates the marine environment and carries out immersion and pressure tests on electronic products. If the test is carried out within the specified time of the product and there is no water immersion inside or the product can operate normally in water, it is proved that the product meets the required ipx8 test standard.

Dust proof and waterproof test, also known as enclosure protection grade, or IP code for short, is developed to meet the test requirements to prevent foreign solid foreign matters from entering the sample and causing harm to human body or equipment. The IP code is a code system that indicates the degree of protection of the enclosure against the entry of solids or water and gives additional information about these protections. In ipxx, the first characteristic number x indicates the protection level against approaching dangerous parts and preventing solid foreign objects, and the second characteristic number x indicates the protection level against water entry. The dust and water proof test can determine the protection level of dangerous parts, dangerous live parts, dangerous mechanical parts and other parts.

The standard steps of waterproof test equipment are as follows:
1. Add water: confirm that the water pipe is connected before using the waterproof test device; Open the inlet valve first, and then the faucet; Add water below the air inlet; Then close the inlet valve in time.
2. Put in the sample: gently put the sample into the water to ensure that the sample is completely immersed in the water; If the sample is light, you can add counterweight or soak it in a stainless steel basket.
3. Cover: seal the upper cover of the tank with auxiliary steel bars; When locking the nut, pay attention to locking in diagonal sequence;
4. Pressure setting: according to the requirements of test water depth, the user can set the test pressure on the pressure sensor;
5. Time setting: set the test time (unit: min) through the time relay, and set the time according to the actual needs of the user. Before the test, it is recommended to set the time for 30-60min; The set value is 999min (i.e. 16.65h);
Start test: test pressure After setting the time, press the start button to pressurize the equipment. When the actual pressure in the tank reaches the set pressure, the timer starts to work;
6. Test end: after the waterproof test equipment reaches the set time, it will automatically stop, automatically open the exhaust solenoid valve, and exhaust the air in the tank. The test ends. In addition, if the stop key is pressed, the waterproof test equipment starts to exhaust and the test stops;
7. Open the tank cover: after automatic pressure relief, first open the vent valve next to the tank cover to confirm that the air pressure in the tank is discharged. Open the upper cover;
8. Take out the sample: stand on the side of the waterproof test equipment, hold the cover with your hands from inside to outside, and then take out the sample from the side. The purpose of supporting the cover is to prevent personal injury;
9. Check the water quality: if the water in the fruit tank of the waterproof test equipment is clean, it can be used again; If the water quality is turbid, please replace the water in the tank in time to facilitate the next test;
10. If there are no subsequent test requirements during the use of the waterproof test equipment, please close the tank cover of the equipment and turn off the power supply of the equipment.

LISUN lauched JL-X waterproof test machine is according to IEC60529:1989 +A1:1999 +A2：2013 《Degrees of protection provided by enclosures(IP Code)》, IEC60598, IEC60335 and IEC 60034-5, GB/T-2423.2, GB4208, GB7000.1. The JL-X includes the following test grades: IPX1, IPX2, IPX3, IPX4, IPX5, IPX6, IPX7 and IPX8 (Refer to page 51 of IEC60529). The whole JL-X waterproof test system includes:
• Drip Box (JL-12): The drip box is for IPX1 and IPX2 drip test. The drip box size is 800x800x75mm (LxWxH). The diameter of drip hole is 0.4mm. The distance between drip holes is 20mm. The sample can be over 150kg.
• Swing Pipe Water Spray Test Equipment (JL-34): It is for IPX3 and IPX4 waterproof test. The semi-diameter of swing pipe is 1meter (Any other size is also available). The inside diameter of the swing pipe is 15mm. The sample rotating table diameter is 1000mm (Or other size according to the diameter of the swing pipe), and the height is adjustable. The rotation speed is 1~5rpm which controlled by PLC panel.
• Waterproof Jet Test Device (JL-56): With water supply device size is 1000x1000x600mm, the nozzle diameter is ф6.3mm (IPX5 waterproof test ) and ф12.5mm (IPX6 waterproof test). The water speed is 12.5 ±0.626L/min for IPX55 and 100 ±5L/min for IPX6
• Immersion tank Waterproof test Device (JL-7): It is for IPX7 waterproof test. The water tank size is 1000x1000x1200mm (Other size can be designed according to your request). It can test samples up to 120kg.
• Immersion tank Waterproof test Device (JL-8): It is for IPX8 test. It can simulate a water depth of 0~50m. The water immersion tank diameter is 600mm and the height is 1200mm. The compressive stress is 10 atmospheres or design according to customer‘s request.
