Semiconductor LEDs Test Method

Abstract

The system introduced the terms and definitions of semiconductor led test. On this basis, this paper introduced the requirements of the test methods and test devices in detail.

Introduction

Semiconductor led is a kind of important optoelectronic device, it has been widely applied in the scientific research and industrial and agricultural production.

Although leds are small, it is not easy to accurately measure the light and radiation parameters. At present, the test results contrast still has great difference within the worldwide scope. On this basis, after researching, the CIE (international lighting committee) TC2-34 team proposed the technical reports and formed the CIE127-1997 documents.

According to domestic and industrial internal actual situation, the photoelectric device professional branch of China optical optoelectronic industry association drew up its initial industry standard “light emitting diode test method” and began the trial implementation in 2002. This paper describes the terms and definitions related to the semiconductor leds test,

On this basis, this paper introduced the requirements of the testing method and test devices, in order to lead to even more suggestions.

The testing method involved in this paper is applicable to the UV light / visible light / infrared emitting diode and the components. The chip test can refer to this method.
