Introduction to the use of waterproof test equipment

The waterproof test equipment is designed to provide a realistic simulation of the various environments that electronic products and their components may be subjected to during transportation and use, such as water spraying and spraying tests, by simulating the environment of natural rain, so as to achieve the detection of the waterproof and rainproof performance of various products

There are many types and styles of waterproof test equipment. The instructions for different waterproof test equipment will be different. For example, the waterproof test equipment of LISUN can be divided into 1-9 conventional waterproof grades. Today, we will introduce the operating instructions of the IPX56 waterproof jet test device.

The IPX56 waterproof jet test device has two operating instructions:
The first is trial operation, that is to say, a simple test is required before the formal test is carried out. First, confirm whether the water pipe and power supply have been connected and whether the flow meter has been turned on; Confirm that the turntable is connected. In fact, set the conversion key to IPX5, take the corresponding spray gun, press the automatic test button, and pay attention to the nozzle should be pointing at the empty place to prevent accidental spraying. Adjust the flowmeter and the speed of the turntable to meet the requirements. After the flowmeter is stable, press the automatic stop button to start the formal test.
The second is the formal test. First, place the sample to be tested on the center of the turntable, which is about 2.5 meters away from the chassis, to make it meet the standard. Select IPX5 or IPX6 test level, (the spray gun needs to be firmly held) and open the valve of the spray gun. Next, press the automatic test button, and spray the nozzle at the surface of the shell of the sample. The total test time shall not be less than 3min, the positive and negative rotation time of the turntable, and the power on and off time of the sample. After the test is stopped, take out the test sample, check the results and record them. If there is no subsequent time, turn off the power switch of the equipment.

Do you want to run the waterproof test equipment?
Whether the waterproof test equipment needs to be operated is required from the working state, but this method is not advisable if it is not used for a long time. It is generally recommended that the user run the waterproof test equipment regularly to avoid damage to the machine due to long-term idle. It is recommended that the equipment be placed once half a month in a ventilated environment as far as possible to avoid the impact of humid climate on the chassis;

There is a saying that “iron will rust after a long time”. After all, the waterproof test equipment is also a mechanical equipment. Proper maintenance will increase its service life and maintain the accuracy of the test results. This can also reduce the cost of equipment maintenance.

LISUN lauched JL-X waterproof test machine is according to IEC60529:1989 +A1:1999 +A2：2013 《Degrees of protection provided by enclosures(IP Code)》, IEC60598, IEC60335 and IEC 60034-5, GB/T-2423.2, GB4208, GB7000.1. Waterproof Jet Test Device (JL-56): With water supply device size is 1000x1000x600mm, the nozzle diameter is ф6.3mm (IPX5 waterproof test ) and ф12.5mm (IPX6 waterproof test). The water speed is 12.5 ±0.626L/min for IPX55 and 100 ±5L/min for IPX6.
