Explain the construction of a thermal shock chamber

During thermal shock testing, the material is subjected to extreme temperatures within a thermal shock chamber. To identify faulty components or those dependent upon infant mortality, it is necessary to go from hot environments rapidly and repeatedly to cold environments. The High and low thermal shock chamber is one of its kind.
It is crucial to use a thermal shock chamber to identify any potential flaws in goods. All necessary changes to improve product performance, including those to their manufacturing method or components, are made before production starts.

Construction of a Thermal Shock Chamber
Here you will learn about the thermal shock chamber.

The Thermal Shock Cabinet
This cabinet has a galvanized steel frame and door. A control panel may be found on the right, while the refrigerator’s cabinet is located at the rear. These include both a low-temperature test area and a high-temperature test area. Because of their superior thermal insulation properties, polyurethane foam and ultra-fine glass wool are used as insulation. At the bottom is a steel channel construction that can take a beating.

High-Temperature Tank
The top part of the thermal shock chamber is where the high-temperature tank is located. Materials used in the high temperature tank must be suitable for operation at very high temperatures since doing so might affect their physical characteristics or measurements. The sturdy 1.0 mm thickness comes from the use of stainless steel of the 304 grades, which is both corrosion-resistant and temperature-resistant.
In a heat storage condition, the tank is activated when a test product is put in the cold region. The high temperature test mode may be quickly reactivated after the sample is removed from the low temperature section.
LISUN provides easy to use chambers for testing.

Low-Temperature Tank
The test chamber’s low-temperature tank is located at its base. If you need to conduct a low thermal shock test or a low temperature test, you may do it on the tank’s outside. The low-temperature storage tank at the rear has a duct for circulating fluid, complete with an impeller, a fan, a heater, a regenerator, and an evaporator.
A cold storage mode is activated in the tank when the sample is moved to a warm environment. Once the sample leaves the area with high temperatures, the low temperature test mode can be used again.

Thermal Shock Basket
There are two sample racks within the basket of a thermal shock chamber. It’s possible to move the sample holder up and down to get the optimal placement for your samples. Both the low temperature portion and the high temperature area are kept sealed thanks to the bottom and top plates. A silicone belt performs the function of sealing. It also works well as a sealant and doesn’t change shape in both low and high thermal shock conditions.
A cylinder moves the basket between the low and high temperature zones. The temperature impact test basket is dragged into place using the cylinder, roller, and wire rope arrangement. This gets rid of problems that came with the old motor, like the case warping and moving.
When the basket is lifted to a high temperature testing spot, the pulling force of the cylinder acts as a seal by squeezing the tension between the low temperature and high temperature areas.
The weight of the slacker basket acts as a sealant on the divider between the highest half and the low and high temperature zones, preventing the low temperature zone from being exposed to the high temperature zone. The quality of the hanging basket seal has a lot to do with how well the tests work.
