Environmental requirements for dustproof testing machine

The dustproof testing machine can also be called sand and dust laboratory, sand and dust test chamber, dustproof test chamber, etc. It is used to test the physical and other related properties of electronic and electrical products, lamps, electrical cabinets, electrical components, automobiles, motorcycles and their parts under the climate conditions simulating dust. After the test, the performance of the product and whether it meets the requirements in the working state can be judged by verification.

Executive standard of dustproof testing machine:
Comply with IEC60529:1989+A1:1999+A2:2013 Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP Code), GB4208-2017 Degrees of Protection Provided by Enclosures (IP Code) 13.4, 13.5 and Figure 3, and GB7000.1 Lamps Part I: General Requirements and Tests 9.2.1, 9.2.2 and Figure 6.

Working principle:
The dustproof testing machine is a powder circulating pump in a closed test chamber, which can be replaced by other methods that can suspend talc powder. Talc powder shall be filtered through metal square mesh sieve. Wire linear diameter 50 μ m. The mesh size is 75 μ m。 The amount of talcum powder shall be 2kg per cubic meter of the test chamber, and the number of uses shall not exceed 20.

① Temperature: 5 ℃～ 35 ℃
② Relative humidity: ≤ 85%
③ Air pressure: 86kPa~106kPa

Power supply conditions:
① Voltage and frequency: AC220V ± 10%; 50Hz±10% ； Live line+neutral line+protective ground wire
② Installed power: 1.5kW
③ Grounding resistance of protective ground wire: the grounding resistance of protective ground wire is less than 4 Ω

Power switch conditions:
1. Users are required to configure leakage protection air switch with corresponding capacity for the equipment at the installation site, and the switch must be used independently for the equipment;
2. It is prohibited to use knife switch or power socket;
3. The electric leakage protection air switch shall not be more than 2m away from the equipment.

Site requirements:
① Requirements for the use site of sand and dust laboratory: the ground shall be flat, and the ground bearing capacity shall not be less than 200kg/m2;
② The site of the sand and dust test room is well ventilated, and there is no strong vibration, strong electromagnetic field, flammable, explosive and other corrosive substances around it;
③ Proper use and maintenance space shall be reserved around the sand and dust laboratory;

Can the dustproof testing machine be tested with sand particles?
In fact, for the sand dust test box, if sand particles are used for testing, it is an irregular thing with different shapes and sizes. Therefore, it is also possible to fail to meet the requirements of the test standards, some particles are too large and will block the screen, and in serious cases, it may cause damage to the screen and the operation of the sand dust test equipment.

Medium of dustproof testing machine:
1. Crystalline minerals, olivine or feldspar;
2. Talc;
3. FE powder.

① Test dust: dry talcum powder
② Harmless to human health
