EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Testing Problems: Interfering Source Orientation

Orientation based on measuring curve:

Basis: overweight harassment frequency range, overweight harassment frequency distribution, narrow band harassment and broadband harassment.

Orientation based on the operating mode and internal structure of the measured equipment：

Are there any standards that don’t suggest using half-wave rectification and symmetrical/asymmetric power regulating circuit?

Is the circuit board layout in the internal structure reasonable?

Is the internal cable routing reasonable?

Is the internal filter (filter circuit) installation reasonable?

Is the circuit inside ground connection way reasonable?

Does the case shielding meet the needs of the corresponding product?

Orientation based on the measured equipment composition and function:

Is there second power inside the equipment? What is the working method?

Is there the driving motor in the equipment?  What is the motor type?

Is there the frequency control circuit in the equipment?

Is there the digital control or intelligent control circuit in the equipment? Does it need to use the crystal?

Do the programmable relay or switch circuit exist in the equipment?

Does it need to use the electromagnetic wave or microwave when the equipment is under normal work?

Does the working wireless transceiver circuit exist in the equipment?

Orientation based on functional module working situation:

Each module of the equipment can suspend and return to work. It can judge the harassment source by suspending the work of the module.

If the module can’t independently suspend and return to work, it can suspend and return to work together with other functional module so as to judge the harassment source.

If the module can’t independently suspend and return to work, it can suspend and return to work together with other qualified functional module of the equipment so as to judge the harassment source.

We can use the replacement way to judge the harassment module.
