Brief introduction of IPX8 waterproof test machine

Waterproof test machine can also be called waterproof detector, rain test box, waterproof test chamber, waterproof test equipment and other different names. It can provide lifelike analog electronic equipment in the artificial simulated rain environment, which may be subject to splashing or drenching during transportation or use. Through the detection of the physical and related performance of the product, it can detect whether the product has waterproof performance. Applicable to, but not limited to, electrical appliances, lighting fixtures, instruments and meters, intelligent robots, camera equipment, smart watches, connectors, sensors, auto parts, buses and other electronic products for a waterproof level test.

The waterproof test machine of LISUN are classified into 1-9 waterproof grades, including IPX1, IPX2, IPX3, IPX4, IPX5, IPX6, IPX7, IPX8 and IPX9. There are many types of IPX8 waterproof test devices. The IPX8 waterproof test device can also be called IPX8 immersion tank waterproof test device. It is a method to conduct immersion test for products. The waterproof level 8 is also a higher waterproof level. The diving equipment generally needs to achieve the waterproof function of level 8. The test of IPX8 waterproof test device is more rigorous than that of IPX7, so special attention should be paid to the test process.

Generally, the products that can meet the IPX8 waterproof grade are: underwater UAVs, watches, bracelets, swimming pool lights, fish traps, diving lights, mobile phones, flashlights, signal generators, etc. According to a sentence in the national standard GB4208-2017 IP Code for Shell Protection Grades, IPX8 waterproof test devices can be manufactured through consultation with the manufacturer according to user needs.

The shell of LISUN waterproof tester is made of domestic steel plate. The surface is sprayed with baking paint, which is beautiful and durable. The inner box and turntable are made of SUS304 # stainless steel plate, which will not rust after long use. Its box structure has its own water tank, circulating water, automatic control of water inflow, and low water level alarm detection to effectively prevent damage caused by water shortage of the pump.

Another special feature is that there is a transparent observation window (made of tempered glass) on the door, and LED lights are installed in the box to facilitate the observation of internal testing. The base of each type of equipment is equipped with four movable brake casters to facilitate movement and fixation.

LISUN lauched JL-X waterproof test machine is according to IEC60529:1989 +A1:1999 +A2：2013 《Degrees of protection provided by enclosures(IP Code)》, IEC60598, IEC60335 and IEC 60034-5, GB/T-2423.2, GB4208, GB7000.1. The JL-X includes the following test grades: IPX1, IPX2, IPX3, IPX4, IPX5, IPX6, IPX7 and IPX8 (Refer to page 51 of IEC60529). It is widely used in the authentication test organization for the products such as electrical & electronic products, LED luminaires as well as in the relevant quality control department for the waterproof detection of the enclosures protection grades.

Immersion tank Waterproof test Device (JL-8): It is for IPX8 test. It can simulate a water depth of 0~50m. The water immersion tank diameter is 600mm and the height is 1200mm. The compressive stress is 10 atmospheres or design according to customer‘s request.
