The waterproof test chamber is implemented according to GB4208-2017 Degrees of Protection Provided by Enclosures (IP Code) and other parameters. It has a wide range of applications, such as electronic and electrical products, lamps, electrical cabinets, electrical components, automobiles, motorcycles and their parts.
The waterproof test chamber can realistically simulate various situations where electrical components and electronic and electrical products may be drenched or splashed under the environment of simulating natural rain, so as to detect whether they meet the IP protection level standard.

For the size of the waterproof test chamber, we take the size of one cubic meter rain test box as an example, with a ratio of 1 * 1 * 1m. There are a variety of conventional equipment for rain test boxes (1-9k). How much water is put into the waterproof test chamber?
The waterproof test chamber can be divided into 1-9 conventional waterproof grades. Different protection grades have different test methods, of course! The requirements for test water flow will naturally change. For example, the precipitation requirement of IPX12 is 1-3mm/min; IPX34 flow is required to be 0.4mm in diameter; IPX3 flow: 1.8L/min ± 0.05; IPX4 is 6L/min ± 0.05; Note that the water flow of IPX34 swing tube rain test chamber is related to their swing tube radius and number of openings. The flow varies with the size and number of swing tubes.
The water flow required by IPX5 is 12.5 ± 0.625L/min; The water flow of IPX6 is 100 ± 5L/min. The water flow of other waterproof test boxes will not be listed here. Through the above examples, different waterproof tests require different amounts of water. In addition, it should be noted that IPX8 pressure immersion testing machine is manufactured through negotiation between the user and the manufacturer according to GB4208-2017 Degrees of Protection Provided by Enclosures (IP Code).
In terms of material, the shell of the waterproof test equipment is made of domestic steel plate after processing. All boxes and turntables are made of 304 stainless steel tubes. In addition, the transparent observation window on the door is also made of tempered glass. LED lights are installed in the box to facilitate observation of internal testing. The base of each type of equipment is equipped with 4 movable casters, which can facilitate the movement and fixation of personnel. The box structure will have its own water tank for circulating water; Automatic control of water inflow and low water level alarm detection can effectively prevent the water pump from drying out and then being damaged.

How to judge the success of waterproof test?
In fact, if the test sample is required to meet the requirements of the test standard, it is qualified if there is no harmful effect on the product during or after the test. Of course, different protection levels have different test requirements and methods. Determine according to the test requirements of different waterproof test devices.
