Primary color:
Hue: the difference properties between colors, which is determined by dominant wavelength of shade. Lightness: the subjective brightness perception of a color for humans. Chroma: the perception of color purity, also called “ Saturation”.
The resolution of hue for eyes is related to light wavelength. The sensitivity of different shade in visible light wavelength range for eyes is different, the human eyes are most sensitive to yellow green light wavelength region and comfortable to feel the wavelength of light.
The mixture of color
Color mixture law
Metamerism: the object color is related to the spectral power distribution of reflect light and transmission light, but not one to one correspondence, which makes kinds of spectral power distribution light cause the same sense of color in eyes. The metamerism phenomenon is caused by the low resolution of eyes, which makes color modulation become easy.
Three primary Colors
Any shade can be mixed by on more than three appropriate colors according to a certain proportion. Three primary colors are independent of each other, namely, any color can not be mixed to produce by the other two primary colors.
