NO.1 General purpose lighting

General lighting generally uses the ring or spot lighting.Ring lamp is a kind of general lighting in common and it is very easy to install on the lens, which can give a diffuse surface to provide adequate lighting.

NO.2 Back lighting

Back lighting is the light source that is placed on the back of an object relative to the camera. This way of lighting is much different from others because the image analysis is not the water light but the incident light. Back lighting produces a strong contrast. When applied back lighting technology, the surface feature of object may be lost. For example, it can be applied to measure the diameter of the coin, but is unable to judge front and back.

NO.3 Coaxial lighting

Coaxial lighting falls on the surface of object with the same direct light as the camera axial. Coaxial lighting uses a special semi reflective mirror reflect that reflects the light to the lens axial of camera. Semi reflective mirror only lets reflective light of surface perpendicular to the lens through. Coaxial lighting technology is very useful for flat objects and uniform illumination on the surface with mirror characteristics. In addition, this technology can also make the change part of surface angle highlighted, because the reflected light that is not perpendicular to the surface of camera lens will not be into the lens, thereby causing surface dark.

NO.4 Dark field lighting technology

Dark field illumination provides low angle of illumination relative to the object surface. Using the camera to shoot the mirror to make it in its field, if it is able to see light in the view of energy and we can regard it as bright field illumination, instead, it’s dark field illumination. Therefore the light is bright field illumination or dark field illumination related to the position of the light source. Typically, dark field lighting is applied to part lighting of protuberant part on the surface or surface texture changes lighting.

NO.5 Structure light

Structure light is the light that projects on the surface of an object with certain geometry of light (such as linear, circular, square). Typical structural light relates to a laser or optical fiber. Structure light can be used to measure the distance to the camera. Multiaxial illumination: in many applications, in order to make the different characteristic in view display different contrast, it requires multiple lighting technology.
