New Product: LS512A Optical Path Converter

There are many LED manufactory use two integrating sphere and one spectrophotometer to do test. The previous testing way is: when you use big sphere to test, the customer need to connect the detector cable and optical fiber from the spectrophotometer to the big sphere, after the calibrating and then you can go to test. When you use the small sphere, you need to take off the detector cable and optical fiber from the big sphere to the small sphere, then need to calibrate again…

It is too trouble to take out the detector cable and optical fiber between the big sphere and small sphere, and every change, you need to do boring calibrate. The frequency changing also will short the life of the detector cable and optical fiber.

To meet the customer’s request, Lisun develop a new product LS512A Optical Path Converter, it will allow you no need to change the optical fiber and detector between the two integrating spheres but only need to switch the LS512A.

Hardware install:

The system configuration like bellowing:

Software install:

  1. For Big sphere software: You should install LMS-5000 software in C:\Program Files\Lisun\LMS-5000, this software will get a shortcut in the desktop, you may change to LMS-5000B
  2. For small sphere software: You should install another LMS-5000 (LMS-3000) software in D:\Program Files\Lisun\LMS-5000, this software will get a shortcut in the desktop, you may change to LMS-5000S

Calibration:

  1. Click LMS-5000B, switch LS512A to Big sphere. Calibrate the system like usual way.
  2. Click LMS-5000S, switch LS512A to Small sphere. Calibrate the system like usual way.

Testing:

  1. When you use big sphere to test, pls click LMS-5000B and switch LS512Ato big sphere
  2. When you use small sphere to test, click LMS-5000S and switch LS512Ato small sphere
