Flashing Effect of the Light Source and the Measuring Method|Part5: Flashing Results of the Typical Light Source

In the experiment, we use the photometer to measure the changing wave of the luminous flux for the four types of typical light source including the 26W screw-type electronic energy saving lamp, 60W ordinary tube fluorescent lamp, 60W ordinary lamp and single red LED, and calculate the fluctuation depth. We set the sampling interval is 0.1ms, all lamp use 50Hz ac current, the test result is shown in the table.

According to the fluctuation depth, the flashing degrees of the above light source from weak to strong respectively is energy saving lamps, incandescent lamp, LED lamp cup, fluorescent lamp, and single LED. There is no obvious flashing when the wave depth is below 25%, the electronic energy saving lamps and the incandescent lamp is healthier light source. Moreover, we find that the wave depth of the single LED lamp is big because of the quick LED response. However, the wave depth of the LED lamp cup composed of several LED tube obviously dropped, it is also a kind of healthy light source. The wave depth of the ordinary fluorescent lamp is much bigger; it will be harmful to the human body if working for a long time in its exposure.
